Boats No. 9 and No. 15

The title of the series refers to a passage from the Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 14:22-33). It tells us about the miracle performed by the Lord Jesus Christ on the Sea of Galilee, where the Son of God tested the faith of his disciples. 

... On the Volga coast, where I live, I often see old boats lying on the ground, having reached the end of their lives. This reminds me of the phrase "Every moment is a journey towards eternity" from the book "Spiritual Pharmacy" by Archimandrite John (Krestyankin). It makes me reflect on the essence of our journey towards the end of our earthly lives. It is likely that the way we pass through the highlighted section depends on us, the ones walking the path of existence, our faith and our own intentions. And the main goal of each traveler's journey will be revealed at the end... Or it may not be revealed... It seems that we won't know until we reach the final destination...
