Artist’s Statement
Anna Kirillina
In my works, I talk about faith. Through its understanding, I explore religion as an integral part of human life.
I conduct research and draw conclusions about faith as a broad field of knowledge about the interaction between humans and God.
When creating works, I use materials that carry the meaning and associative connection of human perception with the concepts of religion and faith: textiles, wood, consecrated church candles, found objects, record and generate sounds and smells. The result of my research are objects, painting and video art.
